CCG Advisors Appoints New Director of Business Development
Additional Role to Expand Atlanta-based Investment Banking Firm

CCG is pleased to announce the addition of Lisa A. Baker as Director, Business Development, rounding out the firm’s Investment Banking Team. In this role, Lisa will be responsible for promoting CCG’s expertise and capabilities in privately-held Middle Market company sales, Private Equity Recapitalizations and ESOPs with Centers of Influence, C-Suite Executives and business owners around the country.

Lisa comes to CCG with nearly 25 years of experience in Corporate Development, Strategy, Marketing and Relationship Management. She began her career in the Investment Banking Department of Raymond James at their St. Petersburg headquarters and later relocated to Atlanta to work in Bank of America’s Financial Strategies Group, identifying Investment Banking opportunities for Middle Market clients. Lisa also held Investment Banking positions as Vice President, Corporate Development at Hartsfield Capital Group, Inc. and M&A Business Development Manager for PRIMIS, Inc. Additionally, Lisa spent several years in Private Wealth Management as Relationship Manager for Salomon Smith Barney and Financial Advisor/Senior Associate within Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group.

Lisa received her degrees from Salisbury University, a Maryland University of National Distinction (Bachelor of Science, Finance) and Everest University (MBA, Magna cum Laude).

CCG Completes Recapitalization of Tennessee Industrial Electronics by Summit Park

CCG Advisors is pleased to announce the recapitalization of its client, Tennessee Industrial Electronics (TIE), by Summit Park. Based in LaVergne, Tennessee, TIE repairs, refurbishes and replaces industrial electronic parts for repair shops, end users and third-party procurement firms both domestically and internationally.  The company supplies motors, drives, controls and accessories used in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) systems for factory automation machines.  The financial performance and corporate culture of TIE today are a testament to what an entrepreneur with vision, desire, solid ethics and a lot of hard work can accomplish.  Click here for full press release.

CCG Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of its client, SunTerra Landscape Services, to Merit Service Solutions. Based in Austin, Texas, the company has locations in Austin, Dallas Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. With nearly 250 employees, and maintaining over 400 properties, SunTerra has distinguished itself from local and national competitors through the combination of large company capabilities and infrastructure and the personal touch of a locally-owned enterprise. Through this deal, SunTerra has become the Texas platform of Merit Service Solutions, a portfolio company of L2 Capital. CCG Completes Sale of Metheny Commercial Lawn Maintenance to The Brickman Group
December 31, 2013

CCG Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Metheny Commercial Lawn Maintenance, a leading Dallas landscape company, to The Brickman Group. Metheny Commercial Lawn Maintenance was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1961 to provide full service landscape maintenance to the blossoming city.  Under second generation leadership, Metheny grew to be the largest family-owned landscape maintenance provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.  By the time the company celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2011 they employed a staff of over 300 employees.  CCG was retained to position the company for sale and complete a sale process.   The former owners will remain involved to lead the combined Metheny/Brickman operations in Dallas-Forth Worth.  Click here for full press release.

CCG Completes Sale of Sunflower Landscaping & Maintenance to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan

Sunflower Landscaping & Maintenance, a leading Florida-based landscape construction, maintenance and enhancements company, has completed its sale to an employee stock ownership plan.  Since it was founded in 1988, Sunflower has grown from a two-person family-operated business in to an established industry leader that employs over 200 people.  Headquartered in Delray Beach, Sunflower has operating locations in ten counties and four major markets throughout Florida, including Delray Beach, Port St. Lucie, Naples and Tampa.  The company has won numerous awards for their work, has an impeccable reputation and very high rates of client retention.   CCG was originally retained by sunflower in 2005 on the sale of a portion of the company to an employee stock ownership plan and Sunflower turned once again to CCG to complete the sale of the remaining shares this year. CCG Completes Management-Led Buyout For Client J-B Weld

CCG Advisors is pleased to announce the management- led buyout of its client, J-B Weld.  J-B Weld is a Texas-based developer, marketer, distributor and seller of a leading line of cold-weld epoxy adhesives.  The company is based in Sulphur Springs, Texas and was founded in 1969 with the formulation of an original "tougher than steel" two-part epoxy.  The J-B Weld family of products are available at more than 50,0000 retail locations including Wal-mart, Pep Boys, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Menards, Lowe's, The Home Depot, Grainger, Auto Zone, Ace Hardware, Canadian Tire and K-Mart.  CCG was retained by J-B Weld's CEO and management team to assist with the structuring and financing for a management buyout of the company.  Please click here for a full press release.  

CCG Announces Acquisition of Comforce By Client American Cybersystems
September 17, 2012

CCG Advisors announces the completion of a deal by its client, American Cybersystems, a global information technology services company, through which American Cybersystems acquired substantially all of the assets of the staffing business of Comforce.   Headquartered in Atlanta, American Cybersystems offers IT consulting and staffing services, systems integration and business solutions to organizations in a variety of industries for Fortune 1000 companies worldwide.  is a global staffing solution provider serving the largest organizations in the world focused on healthcare, IT, professional and government staffing.  CCG was retained by American Cybersystems to assist with the financing for the acquisition of Comforce, a target whose size and revenue exceeded that of American Cybersystems.  CCG focused on soliciting financing from institutional investors, who were able to provide greater funding than commercial banks.  Comforce The acquisition will substantially increase the size and service capabilities of American Cybersystems.  Please click here for a full press release.

CCG Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Church Services, on behalf of Pine Tree Equity.  Houston, Texas-based Church Services, founded in 1990, is a highly recognized and leading regional provider of residential maintenance, repair and replacement services with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and foundation repair.  In 2007, Church Services’ founding entrepreneurs partnered with Pine Tree Equity, a committed private equity fund based in Miami, Florida, in order to materially expand the business throughout Texas.  In just over four years, Pine Tree and Church Services have completed six acquisitions and signed letters of intent for two more, propelling the company to double its top-line revenue and triple its bottom line earnings.  Fort Point Capital of Boston, Massachusetts has now acquired a significant interest in Church Services and will work with management on their next phase of growth, both organic and through additional acquisitions.  Click here for a full press release.
