"It was a real pleasure to work with Brian, Jonathan and the team at CCG.  They are seasoned professionals who know how to manage the process of getting a deal done.  Having been through this once before, I can tell you we were better off and well satisfied to have CCG on our team."

Chris Church, Founder & CEO
Church Services

"We are thrilled that Brian Corbett and CCG were able to achieve not only a great valuation for Church Services without a broad auction, but also to identify a new partner that could support the continued success of the founding entrepreneurs of Church Services.  CCG struck a great balance and did it both incredibly quickly and quietly."

Founder and CEO Chris Church continues to lead the business along with Robert Shelton, COO and CFO.

In 2007, Church Services partnered with Pine Tree Equity, a committed private equity fund based in Miami, Florida, in a recapitalization that enabled Church to acquire shares from an inactive shareholder and to fund an aggressive acquisition strategy. In just over four years of partnership, Pine Tree and Church completed six acquisitions and signed letters of intent to acquire two more, propelling the company to double its top-line revenue and triple its bottom line earnings. Church, originally founded in Houston in 1990, now serves customers throughout the state of Texas with operations in Houston, Austin, San Marcos and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

CCG was retained by Pine Tree in late 2011 to run a process that would allow Pine Tree to monetize their investment return and assist Chris and Robert in finding a new financial partner with whom they could continue to grow the business. Fort Point Capital of Boston, Massachusetts has now acquired a significant interest in Church Services and will work with management on their next phase of growth, both organic and through additional acquisitions.

With years of transaction experience and sector knowledge representing middle-market service companies, CCG was able to run a very limited process yielding not only the best partner for the company going forward but an above market valuation in a transaction that took only five months from start to finish. CCG is pleased to have successfully represented Pine Tree and Chris and Robert in the recapitalization of Church Services.
